Who Can Join

The Illuminati accepts followers from all walks of life. No religion, nationality, gender, or wealth level is required. You must be an adult (18 years of age or older) and of legal age in your jurisdiction. What the Order does require is a genuine desire for the betterment of humanity, a willingness to place the species above the self, and the courage to seek the light when others remain in darkness. If you feel called to the Illuminati's mission — to Abundance, to enlightenment, to the preservation of the species — you may submit a declaration. The Order will respond to those who are recognized. THE PATH

The Four Stages of Membership

I

Stage I — Seeker

The stage of inquiry. The Seeker has heard the call and begins the journey of understanding the Order's beliefs. This stage involves reading, learning, and aligning with the doctrine. There is no formal application for the Seeker stage — you are a Seeker simply by virtue of seeking. IlluminatiBeliefs.org exists to serve Seekers: explore our beliefs, our history, and our symbols. When you are ready to declare your intention formally, you may proceed to the next stage by submitting the declaration below.

II

Stage II — Initiate

The stage of commitment. The Initiate formally declares their intention to serve the Order's mission and begins to practice the principles of Illuminatiam in daily life. Submission of the declaration form on this page marks the beginning of the Initiate stage. The Order receives all declarations; we do not respond to every submission. Those who are recognized may receive further communication. Initiates are expected to live in accordance with the Seven Beliefs: to seek Abundance for themselves and others, to protect the weak, to accept all people, and to commit to the advancement of the species. There is no fee. There is no ritual required. There is only the declaration and the commitment.

III

Stage III — Follower

The stage of action. The Follower actively works to spread Abundance, enlighten others, and embody the Seven Beliefs in all decisions. This stage is reached when the Order recognizes the Initiate's commitment and when the Initiate has demonstrated — through their conduct and, where possible, their engagement with the Order's guidance — that they are ready for a more active role. Followers do not necessarily receive formal designation; many simply live as Followers, supporting the mission in their communities and professions. The Follower stage is defined by action: the choice to work for Abundance every day.

IV

Stage IV — Member of the Order

The stage of full recognition. The Member is known to the Order and guided by those who have walked the path further. This stage is by invitation of the Order only. We do not disclose the criteria for invitation. We state only that the Order recognizes those who have demonstrated unwavering commitment to the species, who have lived the Seven Beliefs, and who have been deemed ready for the responsibilities of full membership. Not every Initiate or Follower will reach this stage. The path is long. The Order is patient. Those who are called will know.

What Membership Is Not

Membership in the Illuminati does not require you to sell your soul, abandon your religion, participate in rituals, harm yourself or others, pay large sums of money to unknown parties, or engage in illegal activity. We do not ask for payment. We do not ask you to prove your loyalty through acts of violence or humiliation. We do not recruit through social media direct messages from accounts claiming to be "Illuminati officials." The proliferation of scam "join the Illuminati" sites is a problem. Trust only official Illuminati communications — including this site, IlluminatiBeliefs.org — and never send money or personal financial information to anyone claiming to represent the Order in exchange for membership.
